Lyrics

I was out cruisin' the streets
Not really looking for someone to meet
Then I saw you waiting at the light
I really have to say you were quite the sight

You looked so sweet, standing there
With your wavy, long blond hair
And I just had to steal a glance
At your nice black tight pants

Oh Blondie, I should have picked you up
But time was running fast
Oh Blondie, I should have made my move
But I just drove right on past

Later that night, when the time was right
I went out looking but you weren't in sight
I drove around the block once or twice
But nothing around looked quite as nice
As you

Oh Blondie, where did you go?
I would have taken you out to a show
Oh Blondie, where have you gone?
I guess I'll just keep driving on

Oh Blondie, I should have picked you up
But time was running fast
Oh Blondie, I should have made my move
But I just drove right on past

Oh Blondie
Where are you?
Oh Blondie
I knew you were too good to be true

Oh Blondie
