Lyrics

Under the moonlight on a summer night
Seemed so far away
Just a number of months ago
There didn't seem to be a way

That we could get all our friends together
And make the big concert happen
It was a lot of work fighting life and weather
And we spent the day playing and jammin'

Those were the hard times
These are the good times
Those days left to fade away
These are the jammin' days

These days to be filled with making music
And the nights spent with a fine lady
Everyone loving the summertime
When life is one big party

Those were the hard times
These are the good times
Those days left to fade away
These are the jammin' days

People out in the sun trying to get tan
Girls not wearing much at all
Boats and Skiers out in the lakes
Everyone having a ball

Those were the hard times
These are the good times
Those days left to fade away
These are the jammin' days

Those were the hard times
These are the good times
Those days left to fade away
These are the jammin' days
